Yes, it is consultant, Sally Trigues for banking and Legal professions, who participated to the British Swiss Chamber of Commerce lunch, the 19th of January 2016 at the Warwick Hotel.
The subject of the lunch was “Human Rights Challenges – and what can be done to solve them”, chaired by Salil Shetty, the Secretary-General of Amnesty International, the world’s premier human rights NGO.
Mr. Shetty talked about three main issues :
Ø Crises and refugees
Ø Repression of dissent
Ø Abuses without accountability
… and also about three big campaigns and achievements over the past 55 years of its existence :
Ø Elimination of the death penalty
Ø Elimination of torture
Ø The Nobel Peace Prize in 1977
