In an ever-evolving professional environment, maintaining and enhancing employability is essential for career success. Employability, defined by the ILO (International Labor Organization) as “the ability of each individual to find and retain a job, to progress at work and to adapt to change throughout their working life” has become a key factor for standing out in the workforce. Therefore, it is crucial to continue developing professional skills throughout one’s career, whether employed or seeking new professional opportunities.
In this webinar, led by Sabine Maitre, employment counselor at Fondation Qualife, and Linda Jaquillard, director of Finders SA, participants discovered strategies for improving their employability. With practical tools and personalized advice, the webinar helped participants better understand the importance of regularly assessing their employability and adapting their skills to the current needs of their employer and/or the job market.
Fondation Qualife also presented its free online platform, Employability Check-Up, a tool accessible to all that allows individuals to assess their employability, identify skills to develop, and guide professional training choices to meet the demands of evolving jobs and the labor market. This practical tool helps professionals define an action plan to optimize their skills and enhance their profile within their company or on the job market. More broadly, this platform was designed to help prevent professional disruptions.
The webinar replay offers insights into practical strategies to develop employability, strengthen skills, and anticipate changes in the labor market. Video available in French only. Watch the full webinar here:
