Training Programme & Approach
This training is highly interactive and practice-oriented. You will apply skills directly to real-world pitching situations. Each session will encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and build confidence through hands-on exercises. Between sessions, assignments will allow you to apply your learnings to ongoing opportunities. A preparatory phase will help you clarify your core messages and develop impactful scenarios for use throughout the training.
Phase 1: Embodying your professional value proposition
Understand who you are as a business development professional and what your organisation stands for, in order to build authentic and lasting client relationships. Develop the confidence, clarity, and fluency to communicate your value proposition and represent your organisation convincingly in every interaction
Phase 2: Developing the opportunity
Learn how to get genuinely interested in the client: their priorities, concerns, and strategic objectives. Develop the skills to ask revealing questions, build strong relationships, and position yourself to offer meaningful, tailored solutions rather than simply presenting your expertise
Phase 3: Presenting the solution
Learn how to present solutions that precisely address clients’ needs, wants, and preferences. Work on written and verbal language, structure, design, and delivery to ensure your pitch clearly demonstrates your ability to deliver what the client is looking for, while remaining consistent with your professional positioning and values.
